To boost the construction of 35 key projects, the Taixing High-tech Zone – located in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – has beefed up its project service system, giving special staff direct responsibility for their construction and for coordinating and resolving any conflicts.
The project liaison and person in charge is tasked with visiting a project site every two days to provide guidance and track progress.
Meanwhile, each project leader is required to visit a project site at least once a week to learn about its latest progress, as well as any problems and safety hazards encountered during the work, among other things.
Led by the zone's project construction department, a project liaison meeting is now held every two weeks to provide updates, collect information, coordinate issues, resolve conflicts and report on various situations in a timely manner.
Each project leader includes key work in the work plan and reports on it every month. The key project work is also an important part of assessments of monthly personnel and departmental work.
