A drug research project that was conducted by Jumpcan Pharmaceutical Group Co Ltd – located in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – was recently recognized nationally.
It won second prize in the National Science and Technology Progress Award.
The result was released at a conference combining the National Science and Technology Conference, the National Science and Technology Award Conference, the 21st General Assembly of Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the 17th General Assembly of Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
It was held in the national capital Beijing on June 24.
The Jumpcan project focused on key technologies and applications of a research model of classic prescriptions and the discovery of contraindications in traditional Chinese medicine compatibilities.
It's understood that the project provided important support for rational clinical compatibility and safe medication – as well as making significant contributions to the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine and the safe and effective use of clinical medication.
Previously, the company, in cooperation with Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, co-developed a novel TCM product called San Ao Pian, characterized by its precise therapeutic effects in relieving coughs, relieving asthma and expelling phlegm.
