A new liquid hydrocarbon storage complex, being operated by Jiangsu Zhongran Yanchang Storage Co Ltd – located in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – was recently designated as one of the key 2024 Jiangsu projects in the service industry.
With a total investment of 1.05 billion yuan ($145.92 million), the project will complete its equipment installation and be put into operation this year, with 330 million yuan set to be spent in the current year.
The project will develop a new tank area that houses a low-temperature propane storage tank, a low-temperature butane storage tank, a normal-temperature propane spherical tank, one butane/LPG spherical tank and an LPG blending tank.
Support facilities will also be built, such as a comprehensive building, a central control room, an air-compressed nitrogen station and hazardous waste storage.
When completed, the facility is expected to process 1.87 million metric tons of liquid hydrocarbons annually.
