Phase I of the proposed 20 gigawatt-hour new energy power plant – to be stationed in the Taixing Economic Development Zone in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – received three construction approval certificates on Dec 22, clearing the way for it to start construction earlier than scheduled.
The project was boosted by the innovative approval procedures of Taixing's municipal departments. They fast-tracked the approvals and construction permits for pile foundation engineering, securing the green light for an early and rapid project commencement.
Moving forward, the overall project construction permit will be divided into two – the basic stage and the main stage – and these will be obtained separately. This ensures that individual projects can carry out construction work at the pile foundation site first, solving the urgent needs of construction.
The zone now regards optimizing the business environment as its long-term and systematic goal and will further enhance the breadth and depth of project services, to help more projects enjoy the benefits of its reform policies.
