The Taixing Economic Development Zone in Taixing city – administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – has taken measures to boost the settlement and development of its Kimou (East China) surface treatment circular economy industrial park.
Invested by Kimou Environmental Holding Limited, the industrial park will be built in two phases.
With 1 billion yuan ($137.18 million) earmarked for phase one, the industrial park has already built 10 factory buildings and supporting facilities, and attracted 25 enterprises to settle there.
Phase II aims to build 33 factory buildings of a high standard and supporting facilities. It was expected to begin construction by the end of this year.
In terms of project development, five local government departments recently participated in a seminar to discuss solutions for a series of issues. They also established an online work contact group in a bid to help resolve any problems as early as possible.
The industrial park is seen as a new mecca for the development of the green electroplating industry, and the Taixing EDZ will provide a raft of services to promote it to become a new economic growth point.
