Two pieces of ultra large chemical equipment were shipped from the Luojiaqiao Port Heavy Cargo Terminal of China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group Jingjiang Heavy Industry on Nov 21.
This shipment is the first time that the terminal has provided roll on/roll off loading services, showing the Jingjiang company's core strength in linkage services of site manufacturing and terminal transportation.
The first equipment is a cyclohexene separation tower, with 96.65 meters long, 6.4 m in diameter, and a weight of 380 metric tons, while the second equipment is a cyclohexene refining tower, with 71.41 m long, 6 m in diameter, and a weight of 140 tons.
This Jingjiang company is the largest bridge steel structure producer under China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group and an important player in deepening cooperation with central State-owned enterprises and local areas in the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone.
Its heavy cargo terminal is located within the inner harbor pool terminal, which can realize direct lifting of heavy cargo up to 1,000 tons onto ships and roll on/roll off loading of heavy cargo up to 3,000 tons onto ships.
