The park represents a joint investment by Shenzhen International Holdings Ltd and Jingjiang Port Group Co Ltd and it cost 2.3 billion yuan ($318.15 million) to build. It features two 100,000-metric-ton and five 5,000-ton bulk cargo ship berths.

Shenzhen International Holdings Ltd is a State-owned enterprise based in Shenzhen city in South China's Guangdong province and it was listed in Hong Kong, specializing in transportation and logistics infrastructure.

The new logistics park achieved its establishment, shoreline planning adjustments and approvals all within the same year.

Moreover, the port secured over 10 national patents during the construction phase and on Dec 27, the first ship docked at the port.

To date, the port has established partnerships with over 20 clients, both new and existing. These include China Energy Group, Jiangxi Ganneng Co Ltd and Anhui Province Energy Co Ltd – with the facility handling over 2 million tons of their cargo and freight cumulatively.

Presently, unloading a 50,000-ton vessel at the port takes only 14 hours, saving more than 10 hours compared with the industry average.
