The laboratories operated by three companies based in the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone – in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – were listed as key municipal laboratories recently.
That's according to an announcement made by the Taizhou Science and Technology Bureau. The listed enterprises are Sprint Precision Technologies (Jiangsu) Co Ltd, Jingjiang Special Steel Co Ltd and Jiangsu Jingning Intelligent Manufacturing Co Ltd.
The key laboratories are designed to conduct high-level basic, applied and cutting-edge scientific and technological research. They foster innovative talent teams and utilize advanced scientific research equipment for academic exchanges and research output.
The labs in the zone are said to demonstrate exceptional technological advantages and innovation capabilities in fields such as new materials and intelligent manufacturing.
One of them – the Taizhou key laboratory of intelligent welding for high-end equipment, operated by Jiangsu Jingning Intelligent Manufacturing Co Ltd – aims to enhance collaborative innovation in the regional high-tech ships, chemicals equipment and other high-end equipment manufacturing industries.
Overall, the Jingjiang zone has made sci-tech innovation a top priority in its pursuit of high-quality development. It actively supports enterprises in their research and development efforts, promotes collaborative innovation and strengthens partnerships with educational institutions.
