The Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone in Jingjiang – a county-level city, administered by Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province – was recently recognized provincially for its development of the industrial internet.

The development zone was included in a list of "Internet plus Advanced Manufacturing" characteristic industrial bases, according to the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu.
The development zone boasts five provincial-level benchmark factories, three intelligent workshops, 19 provincial-level intelligent factories as well as 179 enterprises that deploy their basic systems, operations and platforms to the provincial cloud platform through the internet.
With an emphasis on the industrial internet and intelligent manufacturing, the development zone aims to foster a thriving ecosystem where cutting-edge technologies and innovative enterprises can flourish.
By leveraging its competitive position, skilled workforce and robust infrastructure, the zone is said to be poised to attract more investment and collaboration in the field of the industrial internet and intelligent manufacturing.
