A total of six plants recently started operations in the Jingjiang Stainless Steel Deep Processing Industrial Park, located in Jingjiang city in East China's Jiangsu province.
With a total investment of 12 billion yuan ($1.65 billion), the stainless steel processing park, which is operated by Tsingshan Holding Group, is said to be Jingjiang's largest and highest-quality project in recent years.

The new facilities include nine intelligent production lines that are run by manufacturer Xiangrui Stainless Steel Wire (Jingjiang) Co Ltd. They have an investment of 500 million yuan.
"From signing the project to completing and putting it into operation, I deeply appreciate Jingjiang's efficient and first-class business services as well as its friendly development environment," said Hu Jianxiang, a leader in Xiangrui Stainless Steel Wire.
Moving forwards, plans are in motion for the park to become a hub for the new metal materials industry in East China.
