A high-end equipment manufacturing industry matchmaking event took place at Xi'an Jiaotong University – located in the city of Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province – on Sept 25.
The event – part of Taizhou Day at Xi'an Jiaotong University – aimed to foster cooperation between industry, the university and research.
Representatives from talent and science and technology departments from Jingjiang city – a county-level city administered by Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – gave presentations on its policies, while local companies such as Jiangsu Feiyue Machine and Pumps Group Co Ltd, Jiangsu Sanjiang Electric Group and Jiangsu Hengli Group presented their technological needs.
Face-to-face discussions between leaders of scientific and technological enterprises and experts from Xi'an Jiaotong University explored opportunities for cooperation.
As a result, three industry-university-research cooperation agreements were signed between Jingjiang-based companies and Xi'an Jiaotong University.
