Equipment developed by three enterprises in the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone – in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – recently grabbed the spotlight.
They were selected to be included on a list of major equipment in 2023, according to information released by the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu.
The three firms that developed the equipment are Jiangsu New Times Shipbuilding Co Ltd, Sprint Precision Technologies (Jiangsu) Co Ltd and Jiangsu Saideli Pharmaceutical Machinery Manufacturing Co Ltd.
Jiangsu New Times Shipbuilding specializes in energy-efficient, dual fuel-powered bulk carriers. The company's 210,000-metric-ton bulk carrier is designed to be green and energy-saving, reducing emissions and offering long cruising capabilities.

Sprint Precision Technologies (Jiangsu) Co Ltd develops high uniformity wafer heaters for manufacturing computer chips. The product has been validated by top international companies and supports advanced chip production, with potential for localization.

Jiangsu Saideli Pharmaceutical Machinery Manufacturing Co Ltd manufactures zirconium composite centrifuges. Its innovative centrifuge is said to show exceptional durability and compatibility with informationization and industrialization.

To date, the development zone has 10 products that have passed provincial identification. There are plans to further encourage research and development investment, focus on key technologies and to promote the high-quality development of the equipment manufacturing industry.
