The Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province on Aug 7 announced that six foreign trade enterprises in Jingjiang city, a county-level city in Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province, had been listed as internationally recognized brands to be cultivated and developed in the province.
These enterprises are related to the fields of food, electrical equipment and parts, mechanical appliances, metal products, ship-related transportation equipment. They include Aland Health Holding Ltd, Jiangsu Dazhong Electric Machinery Co Ltd, Jiangsu Asian Star Anchor Chain Co Ltd or AsAc, JJAP Group, and Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group.

Internationally recognized brands in Jiangsu province are selected every three years and the recognition is valid for three years.
The selection process involves an evaluation of six aspects, including R&D and innovation ability, production according to international standards, marketing, intellectual property protection, globalization, and social evaluation.
Jingjiang has in recent years made efforts to cultivate foreign trade brands, promote enterprises, as well as offer services to enhance the awareness of developing brands and cultivating internationally renowned brands.
These efforts are aimed at providing sufficient reserves for the development of foreign trade and to stimulate new growth momentum.
