A total 48 enterprises from Jingjiang city – a county-level city under Taizhou city's administration, East China's Jiangsu province – have been included in this year's "Enterprise Cloud Migration" list.
One of the companies achieved a five-star rating, and another seven achieved a four-star rating, announced the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.
The term "Enterprise Cloud Migration" refers to enterprises that deploy their basic systems, operations and platforms to the cloud through the internet. This allows them to have convenient access to computing, storage, software and data services. It also helps to reduce the cost of digital transformation and improves their core competitiveness.
This move to cloud computing is regarded as being a crucial means to promote the intelligent transformation and digitalization of small and medium-sized businesses.
