The ship project in Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone – a national development zone located in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – reached another milestone when five ship unloading beams were installed on June 2.
The beams are part of a 2.28-billion-yuan intelligent logistics hub by Shenzhen International Holdings Ltd that will handle bulk cargo. Including the unloading beams, eight sets of large harbor machinery equipment have also been installed.
The ship unloader measures 13 meters high and has a single-machine rated efficiency of 3000t/h (1 unit) and 5400t/h (2 units) for outbound and barging process operations.
A fully enclosed shed with photovoltaic panels capable of generating over 12 million kwh of energy annually is also being constructed at the moment.
