In the first quarter of the year, the Jingjiang Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) doubled its total value of goods under supervision compared with the corresponding period last year – by fully leveraging Jingjiang city's geographical advantages – in a performance that contributed to the local export-oriented economy.
Located in Jingjiang city – a county-level riverside city with a highly-developed transportation system, administered by Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – the logistics center is a national functional carrier and the first bonded logistics center in Taizhou city.
Since it started operating in September 2021, the facility has provided a range of convenient services for foreign trading companies and has continued to optimize its handling systems.
The Jingjiang Bonded Logistics Center has secured 10 business fields, including spare parts for ships, textiles supplies, aviation parts, auto parts and cross-border e-commerce.
While consolidating its existing bonded businesses, the center is understood to be making every effort to expand other into other areas of endeavor.
In addition, it is aimed to carry out multi-form, multi supply chain customs supervision business to pave the way for a coordinated, green and shared development.
