The first two ship loaders of Shenzhen International Holdings Ltd's Intelligent Logistics Park were installed recently, marking a new milestone for the project in Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone – a national development zone located in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province.
Costing 2.28 billion yuan ($331.63 million), the project was listed as one of the major national foreign investment projects earlier this year. It is expected to be operational by the end of 2023 and aims to serve as an eco-friendly and energy-saving intelligent logistics hub for bulk cargo.

The two loaders rank as the highest efficiency flat-arm ship loaders for coal loading along the Yangtze River and will be used for various processes.
Weighing 320 metric tons and 350 metric tons, respectively, they measure 16 meters in height. They can handle river vessels of up to 20,000 metric tons.
To ensure the accurate positioning of the whole lifting machine, a technical team from the project company fully studied the plan and organized expert reviews in cooperation with manufacturers, and completed all the registration procedures with relevant departments ahead of time to ensure the smooth and efficient completion of the ship loading process.
