The Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone – a national development zone located in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – recently won fresh recognition.
It received an award from the Taizhou municipal government in recognition of its introduction of port logistics industry projects with a total investment of nearly 5 billion yuan ($737.24 million).
One of them is the Shenzhen International Holdings Limited's Intelligent Logistics Park. When complete, this project aims to become an eco-friendly, intelligent and energy saving modern bulk cargo intelligent logistics hub.

To date, the main structure of a key section of the terminal has been completed and the installation of port equipment is being accelerated, with trial operations planned for the end of this year.

The Qin-gang coal logistics base (Phase II) has started operating. It is equipped with an intelligent logistics loading and unloading system and has been rated as a key logistics enterprise in the province.
Moving forwards, plans are for the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone to further integrate and utilize its onshore resources and deepen cooperation with key industry supply chains – such as aviation manufacturing and high-end equipment manufacturing – to boost its premium development.
