​Jiangyan accelerates industrial transformation and upgrading

In recent years, Jiangyan district has been committed to fostering new quality productive forces, advancing enterprise cultivation, digital-industrial integration, efficiency improvement, and industrial upgrading. The district has deepened intelligent transformation, digital transition, and network connectivity-themed projects to drive industrial transformation.

Jiangyan has intensified efforts to foster industrial enterprises, establishing a multi-tiered, categorized transformation and upgrading incubation program. Over 500 enterprises and projects have been included in the program, with 60 key industrial enterprises achieving a combined sales of 39.6 billion yuan ($5.48 billion), accounting for 44 percent of the district's total industrial sales.

The district has also facilitated financial support for enterprises, securing 94.39 million yuan in subsidies, including 10.33 million yuan in provincial funding, 35.1 million yuan from the municipal industrial transformation and upgrading fund, and 48.96 million yuan through the municipal technology credit system. 

Additionally, Jiangyan has disbursed 31.55 million yuan in district-level high-quality development incentives and 29.05 million yuan in specialized funds for the transformation of the foundry industry. The district also continues to expand industrial equipment renewal efforts, with five enterprises securing 6.6 billion yuan in funding through the national large-scale equipment renewal and re-lending interest subsidy program.

Jiangyan has completed its first three-year action plan for intelligent transformation, digitalization, and network connectivity-themed projects. The district has added one provincial-level intelligent factory, 13 intelligent workshops, one national-level green factory, seven provincial-level green factories, 10 provincial enterprise technology centers, and 19 municipal enterprise technology centers.

Furthermore, 104 enterprises have been recognized as star-rated cloud enterprises. Jolywood (Taizhou) Solar Technology Co and Jiangsu Pacific Precision Forging Co have been identified as key provincial industrial internet platforms, marking a significant breakthrough. The district has also achieved a 53.5 percent adoption rate of intelligent transformation, digitalization, and network connectivity among its industrial enterprises above the designated size.
