Jiangyan district has added eight nationally recognized specialized, refined, differential, and innovative (SRDI) enterprises this year, while 69 industrial enterprises above designated size are expected to be established.

From January to October, the district's top 10 industrial enterprises, key players, and growth-oriented companies achieved sales of 32.23 billion yuan ($4.42 billion), accounting for 44 percent of the district's total.

Additionally, from January to November, the district revitalized and upgraded 1,675 mu (111.67 hectares) of inefficient or idle industrial land, achieving 129 percent of its annual target.

This year, the high-temperature new material industrial park in Jiangyan's Jiangduo town was recognized as a Jiangsu provincial specialized industry cluster for small and medium-sized enterprises.

The electronic information sector achieved overall growth of 21.5 percent, with the industrial output of enterprises above designated size in the sector reaching 6.77 billion yuan.

From January to October, the "1+4" key industrial clusters reported an output value of 48.96 billion yuan, representing over 69 percent of the total industrial output of the district’s enterprises above designated size.

Jiangyan has actively supported enterprises in upgrading equipment, fostering technological innovation, and driving industrial transformation. From January to November, industrial investments increased by 21 percent year-on-year, with 137 technological upgrade projects exceeding 10 million yuan each. The district established 19 new municipal enterprise technology centers, one provincial smart factory, and 13 intelligent workshops this year.

Jolywood (Taizhou) Solar Technology and Jiangsu Pacific Precision Forging developed the district's first provincial major industrial internet platforms, marking a significant breakthrough.

Jiangyan is encouraging enterprises to establish green factories as part of its green manufacturing system, with the district leading the city in the number of provincial green factories. This year, Jiangsu Xinde Polymer Materials was recognized as a national green factory.

To tackle pollution-heavy industries such as foundries and the processing of plastic waste, Jiangyan has implemented comprehensive upgrades, with local foundries investing nearly 5 billion yuan in upgrades that have significantly improved environmental and technological standards.

Looking ahead, Jiangyan district will continue to focus on fostering new quality productive forces and advancing new industrialization to drive high-quality industrial development across the region.
