The agritourism project by Taizhou's Qinhu Oasis Tourism Investment Co, based in Jiangyan district, has been honored as an outstanding village development case by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.
Founded in 2013, Qinhu Oasis Tourism Investment Co is dedicated to the development of the crab industry and rural tourism in Xiaoyang village. With an investment of 300 million yuan ($41.18 million), the company has launched several agritourism projects, earning Xiaoyang village prestigious titles such as National Key Rural Tourism Village and China's Beautiful Leisure Village.

The company led the establishment of the Qinhu Crab Industry Association and invested in a crab wholesale market that now hosts over 200 vendors. It has also developed a variety of crab products and established multiple brands. In 2023, the combined online and offline sales of Qinhu Crabs and related products reached 300 million yuan.
Moreover, the company has integrated the unique tourism offerings of Xiaoyang, Zhounan, and Fengzhuang villages, creating diverse educational programs that have been well-received by primary and secondary school students. Since 2023, over 30,000 students have participated in study tours as part of these programs.

Qinhu Oasis Tourism Investment Co is also committed to enhancing rural tourism, developing attractions such as an equestrian club, archery range, recreational vehicle (RV) campsite, and homestays. They have hosted festivals like the Cherry Blossom Festival, Farmers' Harvest Festival, and Qinhu Crab Festival to draw in tourists. In 2023, the area welcomed over 200,000 visitors, generating total revenue of 45 million yuan and boosting local villagers' income by approximately 4 million yuan.
