Jiangsu Weisilang New Materials Co, located in the Jiangyan district of Taizhou, is currently applying for the European Union's GTT certification. The company is on track to become the fifth in the world to qualify for the production of ultra-low temperature insulation plywood, filling a significant gap in this field across Asia.

The company boasts two of the industry's most advanced automated production lines for hot-press plywood forming. These lines have increased production capacity by over 30 percent and rose the product qualification rate from 94 percent to 98 percent.
The company's annual output value is expected to reach 200 million yuan ($27.55 million), and it also plans to launch second and third phases of its factory, with the goal of exceeding an annual output value of 500 million yuan.
Founded in July 2024, Jiangsu Weisilang New Materials Co specializes in the production of wood materials for liquefied natural gas carriers.
