In recent years, Jiangduo town in Jiangyan district has implemented various measures to promote the development of the high-temperature new materials industry, aiming to become a leading hub in the sector.

The town has developed an industrial zone spanning 1,000 mu (66.67 hectares), capturing 6.5 percent of the national high-temperature new materials market. This year, the industry's output is expected to exceed 3 billion yuan ($413.29 million), with an annual growth rate of over 20 percent.
Jiangduo town is home to 42 high-temperature new materials companies, including 18 enterprises above designated size. Among them, eight companies boast annual sales exceeding 100 million yuan, with one surpassing 500 million yuan. The town produces over 200 varieties of products, accounting for 20 percent of the refractory materials market in the steel industry.
To drive technological innovation and industry growth, Jiangduo town has taken several measures, such as partnering with Wuhan University of Science and Technology, establishing a provincial public testing center, and building offshore innovation centers.
Additionally, the town has created various platforms for enterprises to foster partnerships with renowned universities. It also collaborates with educational institutions to train high-quality talent in the new materials sector, further empowering the industry’s development.
