On Oct 15, a delegation of journalists from various Austrian media outlets visited Jiangyan district, Taizhou to explore its unique tourist attractions and immerse themselves in its stunning natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage items.
In Qintong Ancient Town, the traditional architecture and rich history made a lasting impression on the visiting journalists.
"The streets of Qintong Ancient Town are filled with numerous stalls, which is delightful. The area is expansive, and the variety of offerings is impressive. Everything here, from the goods to the vendors, provides a unique experience, which is fascinating," remarked Kathrin Gulnerits, editor-in-chief of Austria's NEWS magazine.
The scenic beauty of Qinhu Lake also captivated the Austrian journalists. They enjoyed strolling along rustic boardwalks while breathing in the fresh air, wandering down tree-lined paths enveloped in greenery, sitting quietly on rowboats while listening to traditional water town melodies, and observing the Père David's deer leisurely grazing on the grasslands.
The visit further strengthened media exchange and cooperation between China and Austria. By showcasing China's natural beauty, culture, and history through the lens of Austrian media, it contributes to the vibrant tourism and cultural exchange between the two nations.
