The first batch of 55 farmers in Jiangyan district, Taizhou has successfully completed the Leisure Agriculture Management and Operation program, obtaining associate degrees.
Launched in 2021, this vocational education initiative is a collaboration between Jiangyan district and Jiangsu Agri-Animal Husbandry Vocational College aimed at nurturing talent to support rural vitalization.
The two-and-a-half-year program is meticulously designed to meet the needs of Jiangyan district's four primary industries. It offers a comprehensive curriculum with 21 courses across four key categories: Modern Agriculture Basics, Plant Growth and Environment, Introduction to Leisure Agriculture, and Agricultural Product Online Marketing, providing a robust and comprehensive knowledge framework for local farmers.

The program has cultivated a number of highly skilled farmers, adept in both theoretical understanding and practical application. These proficient farmers are poised to make substantial contributions to the district's agricultural sector, driving it towards a greener, more efficient, and more sustainable future.
