The DS Jungle Race stands tall as a nationally acclaimed children's off-road obstacle race.
Tailored for youngsters aged 4 to 14, the event moves across the nation in a touring format, segmented into four age-based categories: parent-child, juniors, intermediates and advanced.
Some 31 obstacles are erected – from challenging climbing and crawling tasks to conquering hurdles, mud pits, water obstacles and single-log bridges. These aim to fortify the outdoor adaptability and survival skills of young folks through meticulous course designs and outdoor skills instructions.
Participants across all age brackets show endurance, ingenuity and teamwork throughout the competition. Whether tackling personal feats or standing shoulder to shoulder with their parents, each contender has a ball and really bonds with themselves and others amid the natural trials.
Dong Shuo, a dedicated member of the DS Jungle Race team, said they chose the Qinhu National Wetland Park as the event venue because it was sympatico with the "nature" ethos of the race. The breathtaking track at Qinhu wetland park boasts unparalleled and distinctive appeal, making it an ideal setting for the thrilling competition.
