On May 11-12, the 2024 Asia Triathlon Cup Taizhou – along with the National Triathlon Champions Cup Series and the U Series Championship Cup – were staged in the Jiangyan district of Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province.
Competitors navigated the natural waters of the National Wetland Park, cycled through the lush greenery of Qinhu Avenue and sprinted along the lakeside track – relishing the scenic beauty of Qinhu Bay and the adrenaline generated by the races.

Since hosting the inaugural Taizhou Triathlon Cup in 2015, this marked the sixth edition of the competition to start at Qinhu Lake – serving as an idyllic symbol of sportsmanship and spotlighting Jiangyan district's raw physical appeal.
The district's focus on developing the 49.5 square kilometer Qinhu Bay showcase area – which covers 49.5 square kilometers – has positioned it as a key gateway for showcasing sports tourism. It's said to offer athletes a perfect competition environment and epitomize the imaginative and innovative fusion of sports and tourism.
To boost the connection of athletes with Qinhu Bay, the Qinhu Tourist Attraction has launched a series of promotional activities. Throughout the competition, participants were able to enjoy discount tours of the Qinhu Tourist Attraction and Qintong Ancient Town with their entry credentials, as well as complimentary visits to the Guluotang Tourism Cultural Scenic Area to appreciate the wetland scenery.
