The district has organized over 430 on-site and online job fairs over the past three years and it has seen over 2,000 college graduates secure employment so far this year.
This success in Jiangyan offering desirable jobs to graduates is attributed to the ongoing development of emerging industries and the transformation of traditional ones.

With over 800 manufacturing, service and emerging industry enterprises, the demand for staff in the district has been increasing year by year, with  cumulative demand reaching over 100,000 people.

To attract and retain talent, the district has implemented various incentives, such as talent reserves, annual subsidies as well as housing and living subsidies.
Platforms like pair cultivation programs and school-enterprise cooperation agreements have also been established to assist students in employment and entrepreneurship.
Zhang Ruitao graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology with a master's degree and promptly found employment at HITRUST – a company in the Jiangyan Economic Development Zone – through on-campus recruitment three years ago.

"Taizhou is the right choice," said Zhang. He praised the special talent service policies provided by the district, which helped pave the way for the company's R&D team to make breakthroughs in the key technology of ultra-precision equipment.
