The center, part of the town and village wastewater treatment PPP project, has received an investment of nearly 10 million yuan ($1.37 million).
This investment includes the town and village domestic wastewater operation and maintenance management platform, a central control screen, and a scale model of the project.
The center has already completed the hardware installation and data upload for over 600 sewage treatment facilities under its administration.
The wastewater management platform consists of the basic information database system, operation supervision system, alarm management system, maintenance management system, data analysis system, and intelligent display system.
Through remote monitoring, the operation monitoring subsystem ensures the transparency and visualization of rural wastewater treatment facilities.
The center has already improved the maintenance efficiency and running time of several wastewater treatment facilities.
Since Jiangyan district implemented the town and village wastewater treatment PPP project in 2020, it has invested a total of approximately 1.96 billion yuan.
This includes the construction of sewage pipe networks and the building of integrated treatment facilities, which are now providing services to 33,000 households.
