In recent years, the village has adapted to the changing times and adopted a high-quality development strategy, making impressive progress.

Under the guidance of the local village committee, over 100 aquacultural households actively responded to the call by investing in assets, capital and technology.

With the help of agricultural experts from the local university, a fisheries industrial park spanning 3,000 mu (20 hectares) has been designed.

Moreover, a wholesale market for freshwater crabs has been established. The annual sales revenue generated by the village has reached 60 million yuan ($8.3 million).

In addition to its main focus on aquaculture, Fengzhuang has also strived to construct an integrated agricultural-industrial supply chain, where various industries merge and complement each other.

Furthermore, the village has collaborated with the district supply and marketing cooperative to establish a three-party collaboration system, forming an agricultural product exhibitions and sales alliance.

This has led to an annual increase of around 100,000 yuan in the village's collective operating income.

Overall, Fengzhuang village is widely said to be a testament to the success of rural development initiatives, where the integration of different industries has led to improved living standards and the increased happiness of its residents.
