Manufacturer Jiangsu Sanrui Abrasives Technology Co Ltd, based in the Qintong town – located in the Jiangyan district of Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – is focused on the production of high-end precision grinding materials.
The aim is to become a benchmark enterprise in its field. To do so, the group has invested in technology to fill the domestic gap in the production of special abrasives, an area that was previously monopolized by foreign competitors.
Its products are widely used in various industries such as aerospace, computer chips and electronic mold manufacturing, steel smelting and auto parts production.
The company has invested heavily in advanced production equipment to meet the increasing demand for its products.
With the introduction of new equipment, its management expects to improve the product qualification rate from 93 percent to over 99 percent and increase output to 1,200 units per production shift.
Apart from the domestic market, the company has also made significant progress in international markets and its products are now being exported to Europe, the United States, Japan and other countries.
"Our average annual investment in technological transformation accounts for 5-8 percent of sales. In recent years, we have developed many new products suitable for market demand through industry-university-research cooperation," said Qian Yongjun, deputy general manager of the company.
Qian added that his group has to date applied for two invention patents and 18 utility model patents.
