Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province held a series of "Taizhou Day" activities on Feb 20 at Nanjing Tech University – located in Nanjing, the provincial capital – to recruit more talent.
The initiative was a move to help accelerate Taizhou's development as a youth-friendly and talent-friendly place.
The activities were organized by Taizhou's Jiangyan district, to attract graduates from colleges and universities across the country to the city. Nanjing Tech University is the first stop of a nationwide recruitment swing.
Taking the activities as a prime opportunity, the university is committed to promoting collaborations with local governments, boosting cooperation with enterprises and pooling their know-how and strengths in a number of ways.
It is hoped that this will serve to strengthen connections and integrated the development of its talent, education, industrial and innovation supply chains.
