This year, Jiangyan district has revamped the 1,960-meter-long Gutian Road and 400-meter-long Fudong Road, with added facilities like more parking spots making life easier and less hassle for locals.

Official statistics show that Taizhou city plans to invest in 96 projects – including eight in Jiangyan district – that focus on renovating 839 old residential buildings this year, costing 750 million yuan ($109.07 million).
A series of facilities that provide greater convenience to residents, such as 100 new elevators, 3,000 parking sheds, and 20,000 low-cost, intelligent charging spots for electric motorcycles, will be built in old residential communities.
