The Jiangyan district of Taizhou city – in East China's Jiangsu province – has undertaken a raft of measures to help its enterprises resume work and production after the Spring Festival and to stimulate the vitality of the market and industrial development.
"We will make every effort to create a first-class environment for the development of enterprises," said He Jian, director of the district's bureau of industry and information technology.
As of now, 554 enterprises above designated size – with an annual revenue of 20 million yuan ($2.95 million) or more – have resumed work and production.
Jiangsu Pacific Precision Forging Co Ltd, a leader in precision forging gear – with its main business in R&D, production and sales of auto forging gears – continued output during the Spring Festival holiday.
Elsewhere, 850 employees at Jolywood (Taizhou) Solar Technology Co Ltd produced N-type monocrystalline double-sided high-efficiency cells and modules during the break.
Company employee Xu Ping said it sent New Year's blessings and gifts to all non-local employees.
Meanwhile, Jiangsu Shuguang Group resumed production on the fifth day of the first lunar month.
Company chairman Jiang Jiahua said the further optimization of the COVID-19 prevention and control policy had led to a big increase in foreign orders.
At present, the company's five production workshops have all started operation. The output value hit 120 million yuan in January.
