A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Jan 31 in the Jiangyan district of Taizhou city – located in East China's Jiangsu province – for the start of construction there of 28 major projects, with a total investment of more than 10 billion yuan ($1.48 billion).
Ten of the projects are worth more than 500 million yuan, covering health, new energy and many other industries.

One of them is Jiangsu Zhenhua Haike Equipment Technology Co Ltd's offshore equipment plant which will mainly be engaged in the development and production of offshore equipment products.
It is expected to reach annual sales of 1.6 billion yuan after it ramps up to full production.

Covering an area of 110,000 square meters, the Dyness new energy storage equipment plant will be located in the Jiangyan Economic Development Zone, with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan.
Upon completion, it is expected to be engaged in the R&D and production of energy storage equipment, with annual sales expected to be 3 billion yuan after going into full production.
