The Qinhu River scenic area – located in the Jiangyan district of Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – has launched various activities to generate more exciting celebration vibes and leave visitors with special memories.

During the week-long Spring Festival break, the scenic area not only opened free to loads of visitors, but also planned great activities – including a float parade, Chinese New Year performance and red envelope gift exchanges.
From Jan 23 the scenic area was also brightly lit up, to offer tourists the chance to take in the colorful night scenery of the Qinhu River.

"The Qinhu River scenic area is a really festive place and I've appreciated much of the local folklore," said Xu Liya, a tourist from Shanghai city in East China.
Scenic area officials were excited by the outcome.
"We are committed to providing rich and diverse tourism activities as well as new consumption models, so that visitors can truly feel the New Year's atmosphere," said Huang Wenjuan, a manager with the scenic area.
