The 136th China Import and Export Fair, or Canton Fair, kicked off on Oct 15 in Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong province, with the event due to run to Nov 4.
Taixing city, located in East China's Jiangsu province, organized 25 of its resident companies to participate in the fair, showcasing their heavyweight new products.
This year, Taixing companies are operating an expanded 59 stands at the fair, up six booths compared with last year's fair. The products cover popular exhibition areas such as electronic consumer goods, furniture and motorcycles.
One of the participating companies is Jiangsu Sunpower, located in the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone. It brought its latest battery products to the event, which boast an excellent performance in reducing internal resistance and temperature rises.

The products were widely praised, resulting in orders totaling $700,000 on the first day.
Meanwhile, Taixing Longyi Terminals is closely following the rapid development trends of the new energy vehicle market and it brought a variety of high-quality products to the fair, suitable for energy storage.
To help products made in Taixing go global, the Taixing bureau of commerce made well-prepared arrangements and plans to help exhibitors achieve popularity and orders.
