The Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone – located in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – is conducting regional assessment work to improve its approval efficiency and reduce the administrative burden on resident business enterprises.
The work refers to the comprehensive and regional evaluation results formed in advance by the regional management agency. This concerns the evaluation items involved in the approvals process of business enterprise construction projects.
To help the companies to simplify the relevant procedures for evaluation services, the zone's regional assessment leaders worked with the municipal data bureau.
Together they simplified the list of procedures, optimized service processes, as well as prepared relevant materials to provide references for enterprises.
At present, four regional assessments have been organized and approved for soil and water conservation plans, important mineral resources under pressure, geological hazard risks and environmental impact assessments.
Since the start of the year, the EDZ has applied for 26 projects based on the regional assessment work.
One of the beneficiaries is Taixing Meijiayi Food Co Ltd. Its evaluation of the soil and water conservation plan only required the submission of a soil and water conservation plan report form and a commitment letter, in order for it to get a soil and water conservation administrative license.
This shortened the approvals process from two months before the evaluation to 12 working days.
