At the construction site of Jiangsu New Heyi Machinery Co Ltd's new factory – located in the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – the construction is proceeding apace.
With an investment of 500 million yuan ($69.29 million), work on the underground foundations of the building has accelerated.
The factory will mainly produce precision piston rods and its equipment is scheduled to be installed by the end of October.
On completion, it is set to produce 48,000 metric tons of piston rods annually and generate an annual output value of 550 million yuan.
Overall, since the start of the current year, the zone has been boosting the construction of projects.
In the first quarter, the zone started construction of four projects worth over 100 million yuan each and completed the construction of seven projects worth over 100 million yuan each, marking a great start to the year.
