The enterprise service department of the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone – located in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – has recently outlined its annual work priorities, and it will now undertake a raft of measures to bolster the business environment.
As part of that, the department will respond to and resolve the demands of resident companies, as well as conduct regular visits to their premises.
Moreover, it will put into practice beneficial policies for enterprises quickly and effectively. Favorable policies at the national, provincial and municipal levels will be rolled out to nurture small and medium-sized enterprises more efficiently and continuously expand industrial development.
This year, the department will guide more than 10 enterprises to apply for the status of provincial and municipal level specialized and sophisticated enterprises. It will also ramp up the construction of an offshore innovations center in Jiangnan University, located in Jiangsu's Wuxi city, in a bid to attract premium-quality talent.
To boost the intellectual property strength of its businesses, the department will actively assist them in communicating with patent agencies, with the target of ensuring the authorization of 80 patents in 2024.
