Officials from the Huangqiao Economic Development Zone – located in East China's Jiangsu province – recently visited a number of enterprises there to provide support for their digital and intelligent transformation.
Experts from the Enterprise Informatization Association of Jiangsu and the China Electronics Standardization Institute (East China branch) also participated in the exercise.
Free diagnosis and consultation services were provided during visits. The zone is offering invaluable services to assist enterprises in building intelligent workshops and factories.
In recent years, the zone has undertaken active measures to facilitate its digital and intelligent transformation. As a result, currently there is one provincial intelligent factory, as well as four "sci-tech small giant" enterprises and 14 new added industrial enterprises above a designated size – those with annual revenue of 20 million yuan ($2.91 million) or more – based there.
Moving forwards, plans are for the zone to speed up the digital transformation of its traditional manufacturing equipment networks and the numerical control of key processes.
It will also organize things for more service providers to offer free diagnoses for resident businesses and to promote the integration of information technology applications and industrialization.
