Taizhou Haifa Electrical Appliances Accessories Co Ltd, located in the Hailing Industrial Park, Taizhou, has been continuously improving its automation and boosting its production capacity in recent years.
Established in 2000, the company serves as a key supporting enterprise for Taizhou LG Electronics, a leader in the intelligent home appliance industry chain within Hailing district. It specializes in manufacturing a range of products, including refrigerator stamping parts, compressor stamping parts, and pipeline components.
In recent years, it has been consistently introducing high-precision, automated equipment, and intelligent control systems to achieve automation and standardization in the production process, according to Lu Youjie, the company's head of innovation.
"Currently, our production capacity is 5 million sets of refrigerator components and 10 million sets of compressor components per year, with an automation rate of up to 60 percent. We anticipate that this year's output value will reach 350 million yuan ($48.18 million), an increase of 16 percent over last year," said Lu.
In addition, Haifa Electrical Appliances Accessories is constructing new factory buildings. Next year, the first phase of the two-story factory building will be completed, with production expected to start in August.
After the first phase of the project is completed, the existing production workshops will be demolished. Construction for the second phase will commence at the same site, encompassing one four-story factory building and two five-story supporting buildings.
This expansion and reconstruction project is expected to have a total investment exceeding 200 million yuan and will add large-scale automated stamping equipment, as well as intelligent devices.
"After the project is completed, the factory is expected to achieve an automation rate of over 80 percent in the entire process from raw material input to finished product output, doubling the production capacity," added Lu.
