The Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu province recently announced the 2024 list of smart manufacturing workshops – featuring five companies from Hailing Industrial Park, located in the Hailing district of Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province.
The selected companies are as follows:
1. Haiyang Technology Co Ltd: Specializing in new materials including Nylon 6, it has an annual production capacity of 350,000 metric tons and exports to 23 countries.
2. Longi Solar Technology (Taizhou) Co Ltd: A subsidiary of the world's leading supplier of solar PV solutions, Longi Green Energy Technology Co Ltd, this unit focuses on producing high-efficiency solar monocrystalline modules at its 220-mu (14.67 hectares) production facility.
3. Jiangsu Zhongke Kehua New Materials Co Ltd: Established in 2011, this high-tech firm specializes in semiconductor packaging materials, in particular epoxy molding compounds.
4. Baoya (Taizhou) New Energy Vehicle Parts Co Ltd: Partnering with the LG Magna e-Powertrain joint venture, Baoya manufactures auto components for major brands like BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
5. Jiangsu Yuanrui Digital Technology Co Ltd: This group makes innovative printing plate materials and has developed a process-free printing technology, reducing reliance on imports.
All in all, these smart manufacturing plants use advanced technology and intelligent equipment to streamline production.
They focus on production scheduling, operations, equipment management and quality control. By analyzing data and using automated systems, they boost efficiency and cut costs.
