Here are some of the much-loved verdant parks in Hailing district of Taizhou city, located in East China's Jiangsu province, for locals to savor and to be close to nature.
As the city's oldest park, Taishan Park boasts towering trees and blooming flowers all year round. In particular, the classical garden, reconstructed at the northwest entrance of the park, changes its aspect at every turn, showing the delicacy and beauty of the surrounds.

Elsewhere, the Nanguan River Landscape Belt covers an area of 38 hectares, with the design of its Hailing section showing the ancient city style. Beside the Nanguan River is the popular Renmin West Road, with its clear river water, elegant willow trees hanging down on both sides of the riverbank and chirping birds creating a harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
