With the Dragon Boat Festival just around the corner, the management of the Hailing Industrial Park – located in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – is ramping up efforts to ensure safety and curb pollution at construction sites.
The aim is to provide a safe and secure and a great festival for attendees.
Led by Wang He, secretary of the park's Party working committee, inspections were conducted on June 4 at various construction sites. They included the premises of Jiangsu Ma Long Xing Smart Electronic Technology Co Ltd, Wutong Bay and the junior high school affiliated to Taizhou Second Middle School.

Dust control emerged as a critical focus for pollution prevention, with measures such as water sprinkling and greening emphasized to improve air quality.
Furthermore, specific plans were urged to address high-altitude operations risks, including the development of hazard lists and enhanced protective measures.
On June 5, Deputy Secretary He Qingdong led further inspections, emphasizing the need for an active response to inspection requirements and strict implementation of pollution prevention measures.
Coordination between departments – including the agriculture and environmental protection departments – was stressed. That was in order to ensure effective communications and the resolution of problems, with the ultimate aim of having a successful pollution control campaign.
