The Hailing Industrial Park – situated in Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – recently concluded a week-long charity campaign aimed at fostering compassion and community solidarity.
In response to calls from the local authorities, the park launched the 2024 Charity Day Donation event, starting May 20.
The initiative attracted active participation from employees and residents alike, with contributors waiting in line to make donations – symbolizing a collective commitment to assisting those in need and promoting the much-esteemed values of empathy and unity.

Throughout the week, a total of 197 individuals participated in fundraising efforts, raising an impressive 14,950 yuan ($2,062) in donations.
These funds will be directed towards various charitable projects. These include support for the disadvantaged, healthcare, education, elderly care and disability services.
The event is said to underscore Hailing Industrial Park's dedication to social responsibility and its commitment to making a meaningful difference in people's lives.
With the success of this year's charity campaign, organizers say they are optimistic about the park's ability to cultivate a culture of generosity and compassion in the community, paving the way for a brighter and more inclusive future.
