The Hailing Industrial Park – located in the Hailing district in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – was recently honored as a provincial pilot area for its deep integration of the high-quality development of the advanced manufacturing and modern service sectors.
In recent years, it's been developing a "1+2+3" modern industry system. This format takes new energy as a landmark sector, the smart home appliances and automotive parts industries as competitive advantages – and the high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials and next-generation information technology sectors as its main industries.
In the wake of that, it is now home to 187 service manufacturers and enterprises above a designated size – those with annual revenue of 20 million yuan ($2.79 million) or more.
As a result, the Hailing Industrial Park has been recognized as a National Entrepreneurship Incubation Demonstration Base, one of the Top 100 Industrial Parks in China for Growth, a Provincial Intellectual Property Demonstration Park, a Provincial Cultural Industry Demonstration Park and as a Provincial Modern Service Industry Cluster Area.
