Construction recently began of two new roads in the Hailing Industrial Park – in the Hailing district of Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – to improve the daily travel of locals.
With a planned total length of 688 meters, Taisheng Road will start from Fengtang Road in the south and end at Yucai Road in the north.
Taisheng Road, with a total investment of 22.50 million yuan ($3.16 million), is projected to be completed by the end of June 2024.

The other thoroughfare is Guihuazhi Road, starting from Jingtai Road in the east and ending at Jindong Road in the west.
Costing 24.6 million yuan, it will extend 628 meters and have a width of 25 meters. Construction is expected to be finished by the end of June 2024.
Apart from improving the commutes of locals, the new roads are expected to assist in the comprehensive improvement of the transportation environment in the park.
