A smart fire intelligent equipment manufacturing plant with an investment of 520 million yuan ($72.93 million) will settle in Hailing Industrial Park – located in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – following a signing ceremony held on Nov 30.
Being funded by Jiangsu Gaoming Intelligent Fire Equipment Co Ltd, the plant will focus on the research, development and production of intelligent fire safety system products – such as intelligent detection sensors, warning alarms and networked fire protection equipment.
These are designed for new energy storage application scenarios such as energy storage power stations and new energy vehicle charging and swapping piles.
The project is intended to facilitate monitoring, early warnings, control and traceability of power battery failures in automotive charging stations and fire hazards in commercial and residential areas.
When put into production, the project is expected to generate annual invoiced sales of 800 million yuan and pay taxes of 15 million yuan.
Jiao Shoujiang, general manager of Dongcheng Group – operator of Hailing Industrial Park – and Tang Wanquan, general manager of the investor, signed the contract.
