A 5G production plant for stainless steel welding materials that is being operated by Jiangsu Golden Bridge Welding Materials Technology Co Ltd – located in Hailing Industrial Park in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – was recognized as a national 5G factory.
5G factories utilize the integration of next-generation information – and communications technologies represented by 5G – to create new industrial internet infrastructure, as well as to build or renovate production lines, workshops, factories and other output sites.
Founded in 2013, the company focuses on the research, development, production and sales of various stainless steel welding materials, with an annual output of 30,000 metric tons.
Its products are widely used in the military, as well as in the railway, shipbuilding, aerospace, nuclear power and medical equipment sectors and in other fields, with the company claiming a domestic market share of over 35 percent.
In the pursuit of technological innovation, the company has carried out cooperation with research institutions such as the Institute of Metal Research at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
